Configit announced a $7.4M capital infusion from existing investors.

Configit, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based software company, completed a DKK 50M ($7.4M) capital investment added to the books.

The funding wsa provided by existing investors, including Polaris Private Equity, Preben Damgaard and Michael Moesgaard Andersen.

Configit, founded in 2000 by CEO Henrik Reif Andersen and CTO Henrik Hulgaard, develops and sells software for industrial production management and configuration of complex products. The company's products and solutions are based on the patented technology Virtual Tabulation, which enables handling of complex manufacturing models with billions of potential combinations. Clients include companies from the automotive and wind industry, such as Fiat, Jaguar Land Rover, Philips, Vestas, Lego and Danfoss.
