Connected Finland, an Espoo, Finland startup, announced it attracted a million euro in funding and is launching a new IoT mobile network in Finland. The round was supported by a single investor, Fennia Mutual Insurance Company.
Connected Finland is building the first nationwide, planned purely Internet of Things needs of the mobile network in Finland. The network makes it possible for machines, appliances, sensors and various indicators connecting to the internet unprecedented energy efficiently and at a fraction of the cost. One of the first activities already existing examples of applications include. small fire detectors and alarms smart meters of water and water leak guards, equipped for remote vital signs, and to install the sensors for measuring the herd.
Connected Finland was founded in the autumn of 2015 by shareholders Tom Lindbladilla, Marko Vannisella and Markku Patrosella, people with over 50 years of experience in operator business and the commercialization of new services and technologies.
Connected Finland uses the Internet of Things worldwide network Sigfox technology. The network and its services will be opened commercially in Finland in September 2016.
The company's experienced team of service and promise to also assured the investors and now ending in the first round of capital collected one million euros. Round participated in the Finnish investment companies and individuals.
