Conscia was acquired by Axcel.

Conscia, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company supplyin business-critical IT infrastructure, announced that private equity company Axcel has agreed to acquire a majority stake in the company

The deal, which has financial specifics undisclosed, was made with a consortium of shareholders that includes Via Venture Partners. Management will continue to hold a significant part of the company’s shares.

Conscia, led by CEO Mogens Bransholm, is one of the most important players in the market for large network solutions and won recognition as the strongest integrator of Cisco hardware. Cisco is the world’s leading producer of networking and data centre equipment and focuses, like Conscia, on developing integrated solutions that are the foundations for all of the client’s IT.

The company recorded sales of approx. DKK 550 million and a net profit of more than DKK 46 million in the 2013/14 financial year.
