Contextflow announced raising funding from Apex Ventures, Crista Galli Ventures and Nina Capital.

contextflow, a Vienna, Austria-based SAAS developer for radiologists, announced the completion of a capital investment round.

The money was provided by existing investor, Apex Ventures, and included contributions from new ones, namely Crista Galli Ventures and Nina Capital.

contextflow, led by CEO Markus Holzer and founded in 2016 as a spin-off of the Medical University of Vienna supported by the Technical University of Vienna, developed a software solution that uses AI-based image recognition to improve outcomes in radiology. When additional information is needed for reliably diagnosing a difficult oncological case, contextflow’s software searches for visually-similar reference cases. The company works closely together with radiologists to continually improve its solution.
