Crowdcube has raised $13.5 million from payments infrastructure company Circle
Crowdcube, a London, UK_based company operating an equity crowdfunding platform, announced that it secured a funding round of $13.5 million.
The money was raised from the payments infrastructure company Circle, joined by existing investors Balderton Capital and Molten Ventures. The company says that the deal was made at a £140 million ($185M) pre-money valuation.
Crowdcube, founded in 2010 by CEO Darren Westlake and Luke Lang, is an equity crowdfunding platform for entrepreneurs of start-ups and growing businesses.
