Cuculus, an Ilmenau, Germany-based developer of software solutions for critical infrastructure, announced securing €7.5 million ($9M) in capital funding.

The money was raised from the French investors from Demeter Partners via their fund Paris Fonds Vert.

This investment will allow the company to further accelerate our international growth and to broaden our solution portfolio.

Cuculus, founded in 2007 by CEO René Böringer, developed a software solution called ZONOS that enables utilities, cities and other energy related companies to manage the transition from basic, manually read meters to meters which are directly connected to the digital software landscape of the future. This is a basic need as smart metering is widely regarded as the cornerstone for future smart grids and concerns all kind of business processes and data processing.

Total investments received (USD): 9.03M
