Dagsmark Petfood raised EUR 600k from Finnish private investors.

Dagsmark Petfood, a Karijoki, Finland-based dog manufacturing company, announced that it raised a financing round totalling EUR 600k ($710k).

The funding was supported by a range of Finnish investors, including Peter Vesterbacka, Gustav Valtonen (Caloom) and Colbaco Oy (Ari Jauho).

The company's other shareholders are Jukka Kaitaranta, food entrepreneur Börje Norrgård as well as a food entrepreneur Topi Jurvanen.

The money from this round will be used to expand and market its production.

Dagsmark Petfood, founded in 2016 by CEO Laura Strömberg and Pekka Siivonen-Uotila, is a 100% domestic dry food company. The company made a turnover of almost four months, half a million euros.


Prior to this round of financing, the company started its operations with the founders' own funds and loan money.
