Danske EG acquired Lindbak Retail Systems from Norway.

Danske EG, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based software company, announced that it completed the acquisition of Norwegian Lindbak Retail Systems.

The deal, which has the financial details undisclosed, strengthens EG's presence with solutions for the retail industry.

Lindbak Retail Systems (LRS) will remain an independent business area within EG and will continue to work with customers including the large retail chains with headquarters in Norway, Sweden or Denmark.

EG, led by CEO Mikkel Bardram, is a Danish software company, seller of proprietary software solutions for the public and private sectors.

Lindbak Retail Systems, led by CEO Erik Tomren, delivers business-critical IT solutions for retail chains in the grocery, trade and service sectors. The company's 130 employees daily serve more than 4,000 stores in Northern Europe from offices in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Gothenburg.
