Demi to raise DKK 9.2 million from Astanor Ventures and angel investors.

Demi, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based startup building a platform for chefs and cooks, secured a funding round of DKK 9.2M ($1.5M).

The money was raised from a range of international investors including Eric Archambeau of Astanor Ventures, Micha Kaufman and Crystal Sacca.

Demi, founded in 2020 by CEO Ian Moore, developed a digital platform that lets fans subscribe to group chats with chefs, creating a source of digital revenue. Subscribers have access to the so-called communities, where they can get tips and tricks from the chef from a favorite restaurant or share their own experiences with the other users.

Demi says that it has gotten already 2000 paying subscribers.
