Detectify raises SEK 9.5M in an investment round backed by existing investors.

Detectify, the Sweden, Stockholm-based SAAS security startup, raised SEK 9.5M ($1M) in a new round of private investment.

The backers include the existing investors such as Finnish VC house Inventure or angel investor Hannu Turunen, as well as Swedish private investors Mattias Miksche and Johan Zetterström.

Detectify, founded in 2014 and led by CEO Rickard Carlsson, provides a web security service that simulates automated hacker attacks on a website, detecting critical security issues before real hackers do. The company sells this as a subscription service and also offers descriptive and actionable reports of the results.

Prior to this round, Detectify had raised €1.5 million ($1.7M) at the beginning of 2015.
