Diakrit buys itself out from News Corp, in a transaction backed by Swedish angel investors.
Diakrit, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of visualization tools and digital content for the real estate industry, announced that its initial founders bought back the company from existing owner News Corp.
The financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed. The backers of the deal are the company's founders and employees as well as a range of Swedish angel investors, including Sebastian of Jochnick, Jacob Dalborg, Tobias Nissen, Håkan Eriksson and Rickard Gardell.
Diakrit, founded in 2001 by CEO Fredrik Bergman, Dick Karlsson, Martin Fritze, develops 3D visualization products, solutions and services to facilitate business opportunities in the real estate industry. The company employs 500 people globally to serve over 2,000 major real estate clients around the world.
NewsCorp had bought Diakrit from its initial investors, Pegroco Invest and SEB Venture Capital, in 2016.
