Dirac Research raised $6 million from DIG Investment, Swedia Capital, Inbox Capital, and Johan Sedihn
Dirac Research, an Uppsala, Sweden-based provider of digital audio solutions, announced the completion of a SEK 60M ($6M) capital investment round.
The funding was provided by new and existing investors, all from Sweden, including DIG Investment, Swedia Capital, Inbox Capital, and Johan Sedihn.
In conjunction with the investment, Jonathon Forster, formerly with Spotify, will join the company's Board of Directors.
Dirac, founded in 2001 and led by CEO Mathias Johansson, developed amobile technology and application that automatically enhances the audio performance of any connected headphone to reveal even the most subtle beats, tones and sounds that are typically lost. The company works with clients active in the automotive, mobile, home theater, and headphone markets including Bentley, Rolls Royce, BMW, Volvo, Huawei, OPPO, Xiaomi, Motorola, Harman.
Prior to this round, Dirac raised $13.2 million in 2019.
