direct me, a London, UK-based SAAS developer for social media accounts, announced that it raised funding of $2.6 million.

The money was raised from investors including Fuel Ventures and will be used to rapidly scale the team in the UK, US, and internationally, as well as improve the product.

direct me, founded in 2019 by Tom Packer and Derrick Chafin, developed what they call a “link in bio” platform, used to connect audiences to all of a user’s content and help influencers monetise their audience. The tool consolidates anyone’s social presence with a single, simplified website where followers can find everything they need and connect with followers via personal experiences that generate income.

Social media networks like Instagram and Twitter have limitations on adding links in profiles. In this case, Direct.me’s ‘link in bio’ platform acts as an interactive digital business card that defragments users’ online profiles and maximises interactions with followers.

Direct.me was officially launched in Summer 2020 after spending nine months in beta testing.

Total investments received (USD): 2.6M
