Dispelix raised $33 million in a Series B funding round led by Atlantic Bridge alongside CCB Trust and Flashpoint.

Dispelix, an Espoo, Finland-based manufacturer of see-through displays for augmented reality, announced closing series B equity funding at $33 million.

The money was raised from investors led by Atlantic Bridge alongside new investors CCB Trust and Flashpoint and existing shareholders Lifeline Ventures, VTT Ventures, Finnish Industry Investment and 3M Ventures.

Dispelix, led by CEO Antti Sunnari, was founded as a spin-out from VTT Technical Research Center of Finland based on science and research in optics and display manufacturing technology for the Dispelix products since 2011. The company is a designer and fabless manufacturer of mass manufacturable diffractive waveguide displays and licenses its full colour Laser Beam Scanning (LBS) projection technology to customers developing game products for mainstream AR markets.

Dispelix previously secured €10 million in 2021 and raised $13.7M in 2018.
