Doktor.se secured SEK 280 million from existing investors
Doktor.se, a Stockholm, Sweden-based health company operating a digital platform for booking consulting customers, announced completing a bridge equity round closed at SEK 280 million ($26.9 million).
The money was raised from existing shareholders in the company and will be used as the company aims to accelerate its expansion in Germany.
Doktor.se, founded in 2016 and led by CEO Martin Lindman, offers digital health care services through video app meetings and phone calls via its platform, Doktor.se or directly at its own clinics. The company's services are available in Sweden only, extended to Germany at the end of 2021, while in 2021 it produced sales of about SEK 845 million ($81 million).
Prior to this round, Doktor.se has raised a total of roughly $180 million from investors from Sweden, which notably includes a $36 million round contributed by Tencent in 2021.
