Doktor.se to raise SEK 510 million from Consensus Fonder and Skabholmen invest
Doktor.se, a Stockholm, Sweden-based health company operating a digital platform for booking consulting customers, announced that it raised a SEK 510 million ($61.6M) capital investment round.
The money was raised from investors including Consensus Fonder and Skabholmen invest. The deal values the company at SEK 5.5 billion ($660M) and includes a secondary component, as existing owners Oriola agreed to sell a portion of their shares to facilitate the raise. Oriola remains one of the company’s largest shareholders.
Doktor.se, founded in 2016 and led by CEO Martin Lindman, offers digital health care services through video app meetings and phone calls via its platform, Doktor.se or directly at its own clinics. The company's services are available in Sweden only.
