Druid announced closing a $2.5M Series A investment round led by Gapminder VC
Druid, a Bucharest, Romania-based SAAS developer of a chatbot platform, announced securing funding of $2.5 million.
The money was raised from investors from Romania led by GapMinder VC, which contributed with $2.2M. The rest of the amount was invested by Early Game Ventures and private investors whose name remaind undisclosed.
Proceeds will be used to accelerate the development of conversational technology and its international expansion
Druid, founded in 2018 by CEO Liviu Dragan, developed a software technology that allows companies to quickly develop intelligent virtual assistants, saving time and money by automating simple but time-consuming employee activities and improving the user experience through fast and smart responses.
The platform is available in 45 languages, providing acess to hundreds of conversational templates that serve specific roles and processes within any industry. The company also produces revenues, as it claims to have a 580% yoy growth in 2020 brought by 50 global enterprise customers.
Druid says that it previously raised funding totalling $2.3 million.
