E-sports company Gumbler takes in SEK 45 million in venture capital from Inbox Capital and a number of sports celebrities like Robin Soderling, Martin Dahlin and Andreas Granqvist.

Gumbler was started in 2012 and has developed an e-sports platform where users can compete for the money. The business concept is to work with game developer take a percentage of the users' actions. Gumbler already has raised a total of SEK 20 million, of which 10 million via Stockholm Corporate Finance.

The brothers Fredrik and Patrik Benedict Nybladh (CEO) are the largest shareholder with 28.5 percent.

The ownership group includes also the venture capital company Transferator and Daniel Hasselberg and Johan Persson, founders of Mag Interactive, author of the game title Ruzzle.

"Our plan is that within a year found in 30 games and within three years of over 100 games. The business model is confirmed and it is scalable to larger game, "says Simon Sundén.

Gumbler expect this year to increase its turnover to SEK 15-16M for 2016, compared with SEK 700 000 in 2016. Sweden account for only a small percentage of company's turnover.
