Easy-Tutor raises more money from Bayern Kapital and other investors.
Easy-Tutor, a Munich, Germany-based provider of an online tutoring platform for students, schoolchildren and their parents, announced completing a new funding round.
The deal, which has financial details undisclosed, was raised from a range of investors including existing shareholder Bayern Kapital.
The new financial resources are to flow into the acquisition of further employees and the further technological development of the platform. In addition, the portfolio is to be expanded, for example to include group exercises and on-demand tutoring. The launch of an app is also planned for the end of the year.
Easy-Tutor, founded in 2017 by CEO Massimo Cancellara, Alexander Liebisch and Jessica Contento, developed an innovative online tuition platform on which students, schoolchildren and their parents can flexibly, at short notice and regardless of location, select a tutor from currently more than 700 active tutors and book them directly for online lessons at the desired time. Easy-Tutor checks each individual teacher in advance with regard to qualifications and didactic skills.
