Eduplaytion to raise NOk 30 million from Fagbokforlaget, Melesio, Peak Capital and angel investors.
Eduplaytion, a Bergen, Norway-based developer of educational games, completed a NOK 30 million ($3.5M) capital raise.
The money was raised from investors including Fagbokforlaget, Melesio, Peak Capital, and angel investor Christian Thommesen. According to local media sources, the deal values the company at NOK 125 million ($14.8M).
Eduplaytion, founded in 2018 and led by CEO Kristoffer H. Engebø, develops game-based learning solutions, and in a short time has had great success with the math game Numetry. According to the company, Numetry is in use by over 80,000 Norwegian students, including every third student in 4th to 7th grade, in 600 schools.
Prior to this round, Eduplation raised $1 million at the beginning of 2021.
