EG announced the acquisition of the Norway-based software company Holte.

EG, a Herning, Denmark-based software consultant, announced that it acquired Holte, a Norwegian market software developer for the construction industry.

The acquisition has financial details undisclosed and represents a part of EG's strategy to be active as a software supplier in the construction industry in Scandinavia. Holte's CEO, Aleksander Bjaaland, will continue as CEO of Holte and Vice President of the combined Construction unit in EG.

Holte, founded by Eilif Holte and led by CEO Aleksander Bjaaland, is a provider of software for the construction industry with solutions that assist construction companies to manage all steps of a construction process from project calculation to complete documentation and follow up. The company has 8,000 customers and 50,000 users in Norway.

EG, led by CEO Mikkel Bardram, is a software consulting company with more than 1,000 employees and 9500 private and public clients.
