Erhvervsinvest buys Randers Reb, a Danish rope manufacturer company

Erhvervsinvest, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based PE company focusing on buying small and medium-sized companies, announced the acquisition of Randers Reb, a Danish manufacturer of ropes. The deal was made for 100% of the shares and the financial details remain undisclosed.

Randers Reb is an 170 years old, traditional Danish manufacturer, with production facilities in Randers (north of Denmark) and Alytus, Lithuania. In 2004 the company was on the brink of bankruptcy with management succeeding turning it over.
