Esportal to get SEK 15M for launching an e-sport platform in Stockholm.

Esportal is a Stockholm, Sweden-based company announced the launching of its e-sports portal for Counter Strike players. The company has been working on it for the past two years.

For doing that, Esportal raised about SEK 15M ($1.7M) from about 35 investors, including private investors Peter Liljestrand, and a few people also involved in the gaming company Star Stable Entertainment - Taina Malén, Richard Wilton, Daniel Aicardi, Erik Lindblom and Fredric Gunnarson.

Peter Liljestrand is also an investor in Star Stable Entertainment.

Esportal platform aims to make it easier and more fun to play games, providing create an environment where users can play with trusted players free from trolls and misbehaving individuals in the community.
