Evoy raised NOK 9.5M from Lundin Foundation, Planet 9 Ventures, Link VC, Greenstat and Presttun AS

Evoy, a Florø, Norway-based manufacturer of electric boats, completed a capital invstment totalling NOK 9.5M ($1M).

The funding was provided by a range of investors from Norway, including Lundin Foundation, Planet 9 Ventures, Link VC, Greenstat and Presttun AS.

Evoy, founded in 2018 by CEO Leif Stavøstrand, is a manufacturer of electric propulsion systems intended to be used in speed boats. The company manufactures and provides inboard and outboard electric propulsion motors that can replace diesel/gas-based systems, ultimately helping boat owners to significantly lower maintenance and usage cost and voyage without noise, smell, pollution and breakdowns.

In 2019, Evoy was part of Katapult and later on was joined by Alf Helge Aarskog, former CEO of Mowi, as both investor and board member.
