Explosion in a $6 million Series A led by SignalFire.
Explosion, a Berlin, Germany-based software startup, announced that it raised funding of $6 million.
The money was raised from investors led by the American VC SignalFire in a deal that values the company at $120 million.
Oana Olteanu of SignalFire will also join the board of directors.
Explosion, founded in 2016 by CEO Ines Montani and Matthew Honnibal, builds developer tools for AI and machine learning and natural language processing. The company's products include spaCy, an open-source libraries for advanced NLP and Prodigy, an annotation tool for radically efficient machine teaching.
