Fanvue announced raising $1 million in angel investment

Fanvue, a London, UK-based developer of an all-new platform helping social media people with content monetisation, announced that it raised $1 million.

The name of the investors was not disclosed. The money will be used for the build-up to the product launch.

Fanvue, founded in March 2020 by William Monange and YouTuber Joel Morris (JMX aka as a Youtuber), is building a direct-to-fan content monetisation solution via a digital platfrom. The company aims to offer all content creators an alternative to OnlyFans and Patreon, tapping into the explosion of the direct-to-fan model within the sector.

The company expects to launch a product in the first half of 2021.
