FarmBackup added investment from Promentum.

FarmBackup, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company managing an online marketplace for on-demand machine rental for farming, announced in a press release securing an undisclosed amount of capital investment. The money was provided by Promentum Equity Partners.

FarmBackup, founded in 2015 by Søren Iver Knudsen and Anders Knudsen, developed a digital tool aiming to disrupt machine rental within the global farming industry by connecting farmers owning various types of agricultural machinery with farmers looking to hire specialised machinery in a given location.

Prior to this round, the company secured funding from Shape Ventures and angel investor Knud Bram Knudsen.
