Field Sense adds DKK 3M to further grow its digital platform for precision farming.

Field Sense, an Aarhus, Denmark-based company developing satellite based software applications for farmers announced in a press release raising a bit under DKK 3M ($500k) in capital investment.

The backers include Pajbjergfonden and undisclosed angel investors and the money will be used to further consolidate internationally in the market for satellite surveillance of crops and intelligent data analysis for agriculture.

Field Sense, founded in 2014 as Ceptu by Martin Kjeld Pedersen and five partners, developed a platform for precision farming, which combines artificial intelligence with satellite and climate data analysis in order to alert farmers for effectively combat pests or deficiencies and increase productivity with minimal need for additional feed.
