Finiata raised €7 million from existing investors.
Finiata, a Berlin, Germany-based financial service provider, announced that it secured funding of €7 million ($8.2M).
The money was raised from existing investors and includes a contribution from The European Investment Fund through the Corona Matching Facility.
Finiata, founded in 2016 by Daniel Schlotter, Kenan Deniz, Naveen Prasad, Sebastian Diemer and led by CEO Jan Enno Einfeld, built a business that provides loans to small and medium businesses. The service was initially launched in Germany in earlier in 2020 it was announced that the company would mainly focus on the Polish market out of the Warsawa office, because to stricter and more expensive German market regulations.
FIniata previously raised more than $20 million in capital funding, as well as it secured a debt line of €8 million at the end of 2017. Investors include DN Capital, ENERN Investments, Fly Ventures, German Startups Group, Kulczyk Investments, La Famiglia VC, Point Nine Capital and Redalpine.
