FintechOS announced closing $60 million series B round led by Draper Esprit.

FintechOS, a Bucharest, Romania-based SAAS developer of financial solutions, announced the completion of a $60 million series B funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by the London-based Draper Esprit, joined by existing shareholders Earlybird, Gapminder Ventures, Launchub, and OTB Ventures.

Proceeds will be used to hire 120 people and establish new offices in the USA, Dubai and Singapore.

FintechOS, founded by CEO Teodor Blidarus and Sergiu Negut, developed a low-code platform helping banks and insurance companies build new services and analytics on top of and around their existing infrastructure. The company says that it handles 40 major clients, including Erste Group, Vienna Insurance Group and Société Générale, supported by staff based in Bucharest, London and Amsterdam.

FintechOS previously raised $14 million in 2019 out of a total of $16 million since its founding.
