First A raised an angel investment round.
First A, a Berlin, Germany-based startup building an online delivery service for pharmacy products, announced getting an investment funding round.
The money was raised from local angel investors from Germany, including Gorillas founders Jörg Kattner, Felix Chrobog and Ronny Shibley, as well as siblings Felix Swoboda and Florian Swoboda (via Liberty Ventures)
First A, founded in 2021 by siblings Antonie Nissen and Leif Löhde, is building a quick commerce business model for over-the-counter medicines. The company is active in the Berlin districts of Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg, and is available via a mobile app for consumers, while operating a team of couriers for getting product from local pharmacy, against a delivery fee of €2.50.
First A is one of the many online quick commerce startups from Europe funded by venture money, an investment trend that started in 2020-2021.
