FLEEP Technologies raised €800,000 in seed funding from Pariter Partners.
FLEEP Technologies, a Milan, Italy-based startup electronics manufacturer, announced that it raised €800,000 in seed funding.
The money was raised from investors including Pariter Partners, members of Italian Angels for Growth, Club degli Investitori, and the Cogliati family. The proceeds will be used to bring its ‘printed electronics’ technology to the market.
“What we bring with us from this fundraising is the awareness that even in Italy there are investors who are attentive to emerging technologies, even if far from commercialisation, who want to invest and take risks together with the founding team by focusing on value co-creation,” said FLEEP co-founder and .
FLEEP Technologies, led by CEO Giorgio Dell’Erba and founded in 2019 as a spinoff from the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, aims to transform manufacturing in an environmentally friendly way. The company manufactures flexible integrated circuits and systems for the biomedical devices and packaging industries. The integrated circuits are printed out of recyclable carbon-based materials rather than silicone, making their electronics devices recyclable, mechanically flexible and ultra-thin.
