Flipdish in a $100 million funding round led by Tencent and Tiger Global.

Flipdish, a Dublin, Ireland-based software provider for restaurant business, announced completing a $100 million equity funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by Tencent and Tiger Global.

Flipdish, founded in 2015 by brothers James McCarthy and Conor McCarthy, develops personalised apps and websites for restaurants and takeaways. The solutions can be easily incorporated in the day-to-day operations and allows operators to directly accept digital orders without having to list on aggregator platforms.

The company works with customers in 15 countries including the UK, France, Germany, Ireland, Spain, and the US, and sells their solution to independent restaurants as well as major brands like Subway, Vapianos, Press Up Group, Cojean, Dunnes Stores and Eddie Rockets and Romayo’s.

Flipdish previously raised €40 million from in a round led by Tiger in 2021 and $8 million prior to from investors including ElkstoneGFC and Enterprise Ireland.
