Flowrite in a $4.4 million seed raise led by Project A Ventures.
Flowrite, a Helsinki, FInland-based software startup, announced that it raised a $4.4 million seed funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by Germany's VC Project A Ventures, joined by Moonfire Ventures, existing shareholdes Lifeline Ventures and Seedcamp, as well as angel investors Ilkka Paananen (CEO & Co-founder of Supercell), Sven Ahrens (director of global growth at Spotify), and Johannes Schildt (CEO & Co-Founder of Kry).
Proceeds will be used to hire more people, particularly expanding the engineering capabilities.
Flowrite, founded in 2020 by CEO Aaro Isosaari and Karolus Sariola, developed a software solution as a browser extension built on top of OpenAI’s language model GPT-3. The tool, which is still in closed beta, is browser-based and integrates with web email, as its main business case is improving email productivity.
Flowrite previously raised €550k from Lifeline Ventures and Seedcamp in December 2020.
