Forecast raised more capital in the company

Forecast, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based SAAS developer for project management, completed a capital funding round worth $19 million.

The money was raised from new and existing investors in the company including Balderton Capital, Heartcore, Crane Ventures and Seed Capital.

Proceeds will be used for expanding the business, as the company eyes the North American market.

Forecast, founded in 2016 by Danny Larsen and CEO Dennis Kayser, developed an AI-native platform aiming to be a system of intelligence applied to managing finances, resources and projects within a corporation. The platform automates busywork, surfaces best practices, predicts outcomes, guides projects to success, and most importantly empowers every team member to do their best work.

Forecast previously raised about $9 million, with the last round announced in 2019, at $5.5 million
