Frolo in a £500K round backed by Ada Ventures.

Frolo, a London, UK-based startup developing a mobile app for connecting single parents, announced completing a pre-seed funding round closed at £500K ($665k).

The money was raised from British investors led by Ada Ventures and joined by Yes VC.

Frolo (a portmanteau of the words ‘friend’ and ‘solo’), founded in 2018 by CEO Zoë Desmond, developed a mobile community app for single parents to connect with like-minded local single parents for support, guidance and virtual meetups. The subscription-based Frolo dating app will have a full launch in Ireland and the UK in mid-January 2022.
