Fuel raised €1.5 million in a pre-seed round backed by Fintech Collective, Seedcamp, Notion Capital and angel investors.

Fuel, a Berlin, Germany-based software startup building a NFT marketplace for consumers, announced that completion of a €1.5 million ($1.7M) pre-seed funding round.

The money was raised from investors including Fintech Collective, Seedcamp and Notion Capital via their pre-seed vehicle, Pioneers. The round included contributions from angel investors David Osojnik (Bitstamp CTO), Michael Pennington (Gumtree co-founder) and Paul Forster (Indeed founder).

Fuel, founded in 2022 by Csongor Barabasi, Thanh Binh Tran, Stefan Tietze and Patrice Deckert, is working for the development of a platform that enables creators to launch, manage, and grow their NFT collection using a broad range of tools. The company says it works with Tomorrowland's DJs Mat.Joe and several other yet-to-be-announced top artists and labels.
