Fundler raised $800k from JNE Invest and angel investors.
Fundler, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company providing a mobile app for consumer financial advice, announced that it secured funding of SEK 18M ($2M).
The investment round, out of which the company already drew a SEK 7.5M ($800k) tranche, was provided by existing owners, which contributed with more than half of the new capital. The investors list includes JNE Invest, Håkan Nyberg, Thomas Eriksson, Fredrik Röhnisch and Per Westerberg.
Fundler, founded in 2015 as Prime Pilot by Anton Fagerlönn and CEO Ulf Ahrner, built a so-called robot adviser, available on a mobile app via which is offering independent advice regarding financial savings. The company made its apps available in 2017 and claims to be used by about 30k users.
