Gameye, Rotterdam, Holland-based startup developing technology to optimise and simplify the infrastructure of PC and mobile multiplayer games, announced raising a €1.4 million ($1.6M) seed round.

The money was provided by Makers Fund, Seedcamp and Niccolo Maisto, CEO of the gaming platform FACEIT.

Gameye, founded in 2017 by CEO Sebastiaan Heijne, develops solutions for game servers, creating matchmaking capabilities across their global network, and giving gaming companies the tools to launch multiple titles via the same API, reducing the need to build custom solutions and infrastructure internally each time a new game is implemented onto the platform.
