Gestrument raised SEK 3.3M in capital investment from Almi and Swedish angel investors.
Gestrument, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup providing a mobile app that helps musicians compose, announced securing SEK 3.3M ($360k) in capital investment.
The money was provided by a range of Swedish investors, including Makrill Invest, Stångå Forvaltning and Pär Gunnars Risberg via PGR Tech, whose contribution was matched by Almi with SEK 1.5M.
Gestrument was founded in 2016 by contemporary classical composer Jesper Nordin, who started it as his own compositional tool in 2007. The tool is available as a mobile application, which was released for iOS in 2012.
The investment will be used for further development of Gestrument's interactive music engine and market launch of a subscription service, Gestrument PRO.
