Gimi, or Vecko Pengen as known in Sweden, is a saving app for kids that raised 6 million SEk from a plethora of angel investors.

The app pocket money brings in 6 million to continue development of the platform by integrating micro-payments and expand the service internationally.

The goal is to allow children to handle and pay with their own money. This will be achieved through collaboration with modern payment market players.

Exactly how to make money on the app is still unclear.

"We have not yet realized the potential revenue streams. But just like the other apps we will have a premium version, the product is directed towards the parents in the family. Without saying too much about our future there is in Fintech also clear revenue opportunities through partnerships with banks or payment services in both the Swedish and the global market ", says CEO Philip Haglund.
