Gjosa added strategic investment from L'Oreal.
Gjosa, a Bern (Bienne), Switzerland-based startup specialising in water-saving solutions, announced getting into a strategic agreement for adding L'Oreal as investors in the company.
The transaction, which has the financial details undisclosed, was made with L'Oreal's corporate development investment arm - BOLD Business Opportunities.
The deal was made as L’Oréal and Gjosa have been working together since 2015 to optimize shampoo rinse technologies with the objective to save water. In 2018, L’Oréal and Gjosa announced the development of an innovative showerhead able to rinse shampoo with 1.5 litre of water – that is 80% less water – while improving upon luxury and efficiency.
Gjosa, founded in 2016 by Amin Abdulla and Luc-E Amgwerd (CEO), developed a showerhead system that allows for saving water.
