Globus AI announced raising $1.2 million from Miramar Digital Ventures
Globus AI, a Stavanger, Norway-based SAAS developer for the health care professionals, announced securing a funding round of NOK 10M ($1.2 million).
The money was raised from investors from the USA and Norway, including Miramar Digital Ventures, angel investors Stuart McClure and Eytan Elbaz, x5 Invest and existing shareholder Christian Rokseth. The round included contributions from employees, friends and family.
The company announced its availability of raising an additional five million NOK ($600k) in a "second close" with similar conditions until 31 January 2021. It also announced that an American company has been established, Globus Inc., which will be the new parent company in the organization. The Norwegian company is grouped in a holding company and functions as a subsidiary of the US.
Globus AI, founded in 2018 by Helge Bjorland (CEO), Jan Kristiansen , Ivan Metrikin , Tor-Håkon Hellebostad, develops cloud based software (AIaaS) that simplifies everyday life for planners and health care professionals. The company developed The Virtual Staffing Assistant automatically handles all your incoming orders and delivers smart and accurate recommendations to deliver the best professionals to every job. Globus made turnover of NOK 12 million in 2020.
