GoKoan secures €1.2 million in seed funding
GoKoan, a Valencia, Spain-based provider of software for educational purposes, announced that it raised €1.2 million ($1.4M) in seed funding.
The money was raised from investors led by Sabadell Venture Capital, joined by Athos Capital, Draper B1 and the Valencian Institute of Finance (IVF).
GoKoan, founded in 2017 by Clara Torrijos, Elena Cebadera and Miguel Ángel Ballesteros, developed a software tool used by students for opposition, meaning that each student has a personalized planning that evolves based on the studies and the results obtained. The company says it helped prepare the oppositions to more than 40,000 users. Currently, the offer is 10 state competitions and more than 40 regional competitions -from the Valencian Country, Madrid, Andalusia and Galicia-.
