goss to get $2 million in funding from Konvoy Ventures et al.

goss, a London, UK-based mobile social media network, announced closing a $2 million capital funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by the American VC Konvoy Ventures, and included participations from Flybridge, Velo Partners, Sterling VC and Transcend.

goss, founded in 2020 by CEO Melanie Mercier, developed a free mobile betting app, which lets users to bet on reality TV, trending events, celebrity lifestyles and more. Users wager coins, which they receive by just using the app on trending events including next elimination on a reality TV show. These coins can be exchanged for prizes.

goss says it has roughly 200,000 installs to date.
