GoStudent secures a €5 million series A extension in a round led by Left Lane Capital and DN Capital.
GoStudent, a Vienna, Austria-based company operating an educational marketplace platform, announced securing a €5 million ($5.9M) capital funding round.
The money represents a series A investment extension to a €8.3 million ($9.3M) announced in the summer of 2020. Investors include Left Lane Capital and DN Capital.
GoStudent, founded in 2016 by CEO Felix Ohswald, operates a platform connecting students with teachers worldwide for individual and group tutoring sessions.
The company offers six, 12 and 24-month tutoring subscription packages to students of all ages, and provides software tools to both students and teachers, allowing each party to focus entirely on teaching, tutoring and learning while removing administrative tasks. Tutors are matched with students using AI and students can discuss their questions with others in a safe environment.
