Grip announced raising $13M in Series A funding round led by Kennet Partners.
Grip, a London, UK-based software developer of a market engament platform for event organisers, announced the completion of a series A funding round totalling $13 million.
The money was raised from investors led by Kennet Partners and will be used to expand digital offerings and territories.
Grip, founded in 2016 by CEO Tim Groot, developed a market engagement platform for virtual and in-person events, helping event organisers create an omnichannel experience, combining various event types across virtual, hybrid and live to deliver increased networking value and engagement.
The company's customers include event organisers such as Reed Exhibitions, Messe Frankfurt or media companies VentureBeat and TechCrunch.
Grip previously raised about $1.5 million from a range of high profile London-based investors including Arnaud Massenet, Brent Hoberman, David Helgason, Marco Giberti or Serge Chiaramonte.
