Groke Technologies secures funding from Mitsubishi Corporation.

Groke Technologies, a Turku, Finland-based startup providing tech solutions for the maritime industry, announced getting into an investment agreement with the Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi Corporation.

Financial details were not disclosed. The deal is part of a larger relationship agreement as the two are now trialling various technology options in Japan and Finland.

Groke Technologies, founded in 2019 and led by CEO Juha Rokka, builds intelligent navigation technology used for detection of all vessels and dangers around it, as it creates an awareness system that monitors the surroundings along with the watchkeepers.
