Hack The Box, a Greek startup based in Kent, UK-based and providing cybersecurity training products, announced the completion of Series A investment round of $10.6 million.

The money was raised from investors led by Paladin Capital Group and joined by Osage University Partners, Brighteye Ventures, and existing investors Marathon Venture Capital.

Proceeds will be used for growth as the company is eyeing a presence in the US and global market, while further expanding its product portfolio for both individuals and organizations.

Hack The Box, founded in 2017 by Aris Zikopoulos and Haris Pylarinos (CEO), developed a platform that provides security training and testing for software products. The platform's users are challenged to learn by doing by “attacking” virtual vulnerable labs and advance their adversarial security skills in a simulated, gamified, and safe test environment.

The company says it operates one of the world’s largest hacker communities with over 500,000 platform members with diverse IT backgrounds, from beginners to experts, and more than 800 organizations and 550 academic institutions as customers and partners.

Prior to this round, Hack the Box raised almost $4 million.
