Handiscover secures $700k from Howzat Partners and its existing investors

Handiscover, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company providing holiday services for people with special needs, announced securing $700k in capital investment.

The money comes from new and existing investors, including Howzat Partners, Tranquillity Capital, Entreprenor Invest and Almi Invest and will be used to further stregthen the company's relationship with travel operator Amadeus.

Handiscover, founded in 2015 by CEO Sebastien Archambeaud, manages a holiday accommodation booking website for people with reduced mobility or special needs. The company, which has 5 employees, provides services in more than 80 countries and expects its revenues to increase five times in 2018, from qvasi nothing registered in accounting books for 2017.

Prior to this deal, Handiscover raised about $1M from investors including Aron Anderson, Cecilia Kragsterman, Dominika Peczynski, Dušan Stojanović and Tord Wingren.
